How much notice do you need for a cake booking?
In order for me to be able to properly plan your cake and order all the supplies I will need, I require a minimum of seven days notice for a cake order. This is of course, if I still have spots available. Please be aware that I do tend to book out quickly, so it's best to book in as soon as you can.
Can you recreate the cake in a photo I send to you?
You can definitely email me photos which I will use for inspiration, but I don't copy other designers. In fact, by letting me have some creative freedom you will allow me to create the best cake I possibly can for you. Emailing me pictures is a really helpful way to give me an idea of the style of cakes you like.
How much will my cake cost?
Every single cake I design is different and will be a different price depending on the complexity of the design and the decorations. I will give you a quote for your cake (and normally another options as well) so you can pick something that fits your budget and style.

How big a cake should I order?
I can help with helping determine the best size cake for your needs, just let me know how many serves you would like. However, ultimately it does depend on how big you make the slices when you cut your cake.

Will you hold my date?
To keep things fair for everyone, I operate on a system where bookings are only confirmed once your non-refundable booking deposit is paid. So even if we have started discussing your cake, or I have emailed you a quote, if another party pays beforehand then unfortunately I can book out.
Do you deliver?
All my quoted prices either via email or stated on this website are based on you collecting your cake from my location in Burnside, Sunshine Coast QLD. I don't often offer delivery just simply because I am so very busy, however please let me know if you would like your cake to be delivered and I can include this in your quote.
How do I pay?
Can I pay in cash when I pickup the cake?
Paying for your cake is nice and simple. Once we decide on a design together, I will email you through an invoice for your non-refundable booking deposit (normally $150). This secures your booking and place in my calendar. I can not hold your place until this deposit is paid. The remaining balance of your order is due to be paid at least seven days prior to your cake pickup/delivery date.

Unfortunately I do not accept cash payments & I can not start work on your cake until that final payment is made.
Do you cater for allergies or other dietary requirements?
I do not cater for any dietary requirements. I do offer some gluten free options, however please be aware that I am NOT certified for allergens or gluten free and as such I can not 100% guarantee gluten free.
How do I transport my cake?
Once you have booked your cake with me, I will email you my CAKE CARE & TRANSPORT GUIDE, which details the best way I recommend to both store and transport your cake.
Does my cake need to be refrigerated?
Yes! Your cake does need to be refrigerated as soon as possible after collection, and it needs to stay refrigerated right up until just a little before you plan to serve. My cakes are made using buttercream icing which will melt in heat.
Why is the booking fee non-refundable?
In order to book a cake with me, I require a $150 non-refundable deposit to be paid. This allows me to allocate your cake the time and dedication it deserves and allows me to purchase all the items I will need.
